Day 1
Embarkation - Exciting Luxor East Bank:
Your enjoyable Easter Nile journey begins in Luxor. After arrival, you will be comfortably transferred to your beautiful Nile cruise ship and check in before lunch.
In the afternoon, explore the treasures of the East Bank of Luxor with your expert tour guide, starting with the enchanting Karnak Temple, which is the largest religious and most impressive complex ever built. During the Easter season, the warm sunlight highlights the towering columns of the Great and fascinating Hypostyle Hall, revealing carved reliefs and faded pigments often missed at other times of the year. Your guide explains how Karnak evolved over more than 2,000 years as a living and great temple rather than a single monument.
Continue your exploration by visiting Luxor Temple, which was once linked to Karnak by a ceremonial avenue used during ancient festivals. Easter timing allows for a peaceful and enjoyable sunset visit, when the temple’s obelisks and statues glow warmly under the changing light.
We will take you back to your charming cruise for dinner and a special Easter welcome evening, featuring festive décor and fun shows.
